On Jan 25 2024, Batik Air ID6723 from Kendari to Jakarta Indonesia, an Airbus A320 with 153 passengers and 6 crew was enroute at FL360 when the Captain and First Officer of the Batik Air flight both fell asleep for 30 minutes causing the flight to drift from its flight path.
The flight landed without further incident of course after both the pilots woke up.
The Indonesian National Transport Safety Committee has released a preliminary report and will launch a full investigation.
