Emirates & Etihad halts ALL flights


United Arab Emirates -- Emirates & Etihad have announced that all passenger flights will be suspended from March 25, 2020. This is the airlines' response to the UAE government's directive in suspending all inbound, outbound and transit flights in an effort to contain the global pandemic.

Etihad

The Abu Dhabi based carrier Etihad currently has a fleet of 96 of mostly widebody aircraft including A380's and modern 787 Dreamliners

Emirates

Emirates, the worlds largest A380 operator currently has 114 of the double-decker aeroplane which has flooded routes with seats and availability. 

Emirates also operates a large number of Boeing B777-300er's amounting to 154.
